Intersport’s Data-Driven Marketing Strategy

Peakz Padel, one of the fastest-growing sports facilities in the Netherlands, needed deeper insights into their booking and reservation patterns, occupation ratios, and sales data. Additionally, they sought a competitive edge by analyzing the performance of competitors. To achieve these goals, they required data integration from platforms like FOYS, Twelve, Visma, open-source data from CBS, and insights into potential court takeovers from underperforming competitors. The Data Cooks was brought on board to create a solution.

The challenge

Intersport, a global leader in sports retail, wanted to gain deeper insights into the performance of their European marketing campaigns. The challenge lay in integrating data from various sources and transforming it into meaningful, actionable insights. Their goal was to track and measure campaign success across key metrics like Participation Rate, Implementation Rate, Touch Point analysis, Views Rate, and Engagement Rate. However, fragmented data systems and lack of a unified reporting structure hindered their ability to do so effectively.

The Solution / Added Value

The Data Cooks collaborated with Intersport to build a robust data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solution. We centralized campaign data from multiple sources, ensuring that it was standardized and ready for analysis. By developing tailored dashboards in Power BI, we provided Intersport with an easy-to-navigate platform to track key performance metrics.
